First sign-in

The first start with a new database creates an administrator automatically. Open the local site and use:

Administrator email
admin@example.com
Initial password
LaunchAdmin123!
  1. The first sign-in requires replacing the initial password with a new password of 12–128 bytes.
  2. After saving, sign in again with the new password before configuring the store.
  3. Do not expose administration publicly until the password is changed and HTTPS is confirmed.
Preserve during upgrades

Keep config.yaml, .local, the original instance master_key, MySQL data, and upload directory. Make a restorable backup before replacing the executable.
