Bulk operations and policy changes

Issue, renew or revoke licenses in a batch when customers need the same treatment. Preview the impact before changing existing license rights.

Bulk issue or import

Choose a product, policy and batch duration, then enter customers or import CSV. Use customer,customer_email headers with an optional duration_days third column; blank values use the batch duration. Issue up to 100 licenses and download the complete keys after success.

If any item fails, the entire batch remains unapplied. After a timeout, retry without changing the contents; the request ID returns the original result rather than issuing again.

Bulk renew or revoke

Select licenses on the left, then Batch renew or Batch revoke. The header checkbox selects the current page; selections survive pagination, up to 100 per batch. Changing filters, leaving Licenses or refreshing clears the selection.

Enter days to add when renewing. Unactivated licenses gain validity days; active ones extend their expiration; expired ones extend from now. Before revoking, expand the selection to check customers. Revocation is irreversible. Read-only members cannot perform these operations.

Edit the policy currently linked to licenses

Open Authorization policies and save the new rules. The system automatically syncs all linked, non-revoked licenses. Limits, features, usage rules, model, maintenance and versions update; each license keeps its term, customer, used units and separate maintenance extension.

If the new rules conflict with active devices, the whole save is canceled. Release the devices or sessions and save again. Clients receive a new signature on their next successful online validation; a fully offline cache is not remotely rewritten.

Move licenses to another policy

  1. On the Licenses page, select records for the same product, choose Apply policy and select the target policy.
  2. Review device or seat limits, features, usage quotas and maintenance. Release devices first if the new limit is exceeded or the binding model changes while devices are active.
  3. Confirm and apply. The client receives newly signed authorization on its next online validation.

The preview is valid for 10 minutes and must be refreshed if records change. Migration preserves the license term type, valid days, first activation and expiry. Use renewal to extend its usage term.
